Registered Behavioral Technician – All Locations
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at MABC provides direct therapeutic support to individuals with autism and other behavioral challenges under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support the development of social, communication, and learning skills.
They work closely with clients and families, collect and document behavioral data, and communicate progress to the supervising BCBA to help guide ongoing treatment decisions.
Behavioral Therapist – All Locations
A Behavioral Therapist at MABC implements individualized, evidence-based ABA interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They support skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and adaptive behavior while collecting data to monitor progress.
Behavioral Therapists collaborate closely with families and the clinical team and may provide caregiver education to support consistency across environments. They follow established behavior plans to help address challenging behaviors in a structured, supportive setting.
Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBA) – All Locations
As part of Mireles Autism & Behavioral Center, it is the responsibility of the BCBA to conduct various descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments (e.g., functional analyses) and skill-based assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, etc.). The BCBA then provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results and designs comprehensive ABA treatment plans based off of evidence-based practices and behavior analytic research literature. The BCBA provides training and supervision to Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, and other responsible parties tasked with the implementation of behavior analytic interventions. The BCBA then supervises and monitors treatment progress of a client through data-based progress monitoring. The BCBA also provides training to parents/guardians and other responsible parties for the client.
