Mireles Autism and Behavioral Center consists of a strong team of ABA health providers formed to address the specific needs of children and families from the RGV.

Dr. Mireles - Mireles Autism and Behavioral Center

Mireles Autism and Behavioral Center was founded by Dr. Mireles, a Licensed Psychologist and LSSP, from the Rio Grande Valley who wanted to bring evidence based treatment with a bilingual, bi-cultural perspective to the Valley.

After studying across different settings, including Boston Children’s Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and Houston ISD, he elected to return home and build a strong team of ABA health providers to address the specific needs of children and families from the RGV.

Tatiana Mireles

Executive Administrator

Tatiana has been with Mireles Psychological Health Services, P.A. since it opened. She has a friendly and has a warm disposition and is integral to the day-to-day functioning of the office. As an Executive Administrator, Tatiana conducts research, creates statistical reports and prepare agendas for management. At Mireles Psychological Health Services, P.A., Tatiana has surpassed her duties as Executive Administrator since 2017. Her dedication to the practice manifests in every aspect of her work ethic. She is known for getting things done, her punctuality, positive demeanor with both patients/clients and in personal interactions with other employees. Her passion for work is evident and infectious. She knows and understands our mission, values and shares MPHS’ vision.

Kattie A. Guerrero, M.A.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Kattie Guerrero is a graduate from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with her Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology with a BCBA Track. Kattie has worked and volunteered in various settings including clinic, in-home, and state center. Kattie has worked with ages from 3 to 60 years old. She has experience in decreasing problem behavior, increasing verbal behavior, Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), and Task analysis. She also has experience in assessing Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS), Essentials for Living (ESL), Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), and Functional Analysis (FAs).

Ruben Nieto, MA

Board Certified Behavior Analyst & Outpatient Behavioral Health Supervisor

Ruben Nieto is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who graduated from The University of Texas Pan American with his graduate degree in Experimental Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2011. Mr. Ruben Nieto serves as the Outpatient Behavioral Services BCBA Supervisor at the newly established ABA Clinic Division of, Mireles Psychological Health Services, located in McAllen, Texas. Previously he served as the Psychology & Behavioral Health Director at RGSC serving and treating adults with intellectual disabilities.

Mr. Ruben Nieto has experience working with RGV Behavioral Consultants where they worked with children with Autism, developing ABA home programs, working with severe challenging behaviors, consulting with school districts throughout the RGV on behavioral cases, conducting trainings for families and schools on Applied Behavior Analysis techniques, and has worked with Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Additional work experience includes working in OBM (organizational behavior management), PM (performance management), and Flow & Peak Performance training.
